 The 2014 Beefsteak and Burgundy Convention

60th Anniversary Celebration 


  2014 is the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Beefsteak and Burgundy Club
 
The convention is being organised by three clubs:
Brighton (club number 1)
Lockleys (club number 2)
Burnside (club number 3)
 
The programme is as follows:
 
Friday October 10
3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Registration, InterContinental Hotel
7:00 p.m. Welcome Dinner, National Wine Centre
 
Saturday October 11
9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Business Session, InterContinental Hotel
10:30 a.m. to  12:00 noon Master Classes, InterContinental Hotel
7 p.m. Convention Dinner, InterContinental Hotel
 
Sunday October 12
1:00 p.m. Farewell lunch / Seafood Extravaganza, Pinky Flat
 
Accommodation
We have organised deals with a number of establishments on / near North Terrace. Delegates should book direct with them.
 
Pre and post-convention activities
In addition to Adelaide's proximity to many of Australia's world renowned wine regions including Barossa, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale, there are plenty of other great places to visit e.g. Kangaroo Island, Flinders Ranges.
 
Registration
Is now open and can be performed online or by completing the registration form in the brochure which is available from the web site. The early bird price is $795 per person, available until June 30. After that the price is $895 per person.
 
You should receive some convention fliers with your 2014 handbooks soon. Please distribute them and this email to your members.
